Strategic Family Therapy
Each weekly reflection paper focuses on the assigned readings and lectures. The purpose of these reflection papers is for you, the student, to demonstrate how you make sense of the readings and lectures. Questions, inspirations, “aha moments”, disagreements, and other discursive stances are welcome in the reflection papers. The reflections papers are to be in APA format and citations are required to provide credibility to your paper.
Answer both of these questions based on the readings and lectures:
1. What aspects of Bowen Family Systems Therapy had an impact on your thinking clinically, personally, and/or theoretically? What dimensions do you agree or disagree with as a future counselor? What could you foresee incorporating into your own life as well and into your counseling career? What is still left unanswered that would encourage you to pursue further clarification?
