The leadership team at your organization has put out a call for initiatives to improve workplace health and wellbeing. Build on the strategy you outlined in this week’s Referee Framework practice activity to respond to that call. Create a ~5-minute pitch video to your supervisor in which you: (I will do the recording) I just need the substance and it can be created in powerpoint, I will record just need the substance and speaker notes
• Explain your idea.
• Make a case for why it will be:
o Acceptable
o Appropriate
o Feasible
• Ask for specific resources—financial, human, etc.—that you will need to get started.
As you work on your pitch, carefully consider ways to frame your idea to avoid executives’ hesitancy to greenlight new equity or ADEI initiatives. For example, how might you pitch your idea in terms of:
• Organizational health and employee wellbeing?
• Added value or return on investment?

Assignment 4
Choose an area of inequity that you have identified in your organization or field. It could be based on the discussions, reflections, and practice activities you have done so far in the course, or it could be something new. Review Prof. Jenkins’s materials on the Referee Framework, and then use the Applying the Referee Framework worksheet Download Applying the Referee Framework worksheet (attached in the files as a word doc – advancing health equity) to create a strategy for meaningfully addressing the inequity.
For this practice activity, choose an inequity that you might be able to take action to address. As you work, consider the specific resources at your disposal—your network in and out of your organization, your strengths and skills, and what you have learned in this course and elsewhere in your coursework.

• How have the culture and policies of your organization changed since the start of 2025?
• What have been the outcomes to date?
• What 1 or 2 course concepts might be most useful in helping you to continue to advance equity, inclusion, and accountability in a way that is acceptable in the current environment? Why?
