Qualities of a Good Employee

I got burned
I always thought my dream was to be an executive at a Fortune 500 company, leading big projects to change the world. It seemed like it was possible given my education and passion for working with people. I gravitated toward jobs and projects that I intrinsically knew did not serve my greater passion in life. I wanted to impact people in a positive way and the high level of stress and burnout of corporate America was not the answer. I got burned, but I remained resilient.

And, that’s when it happened; prior to the pandemic, I returned to the field of health and wellness. The fact is, I deviated from my passion for health and wellness early in my career. This was my opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of people that would be experiencing the worst stress seen in decades as a result of the pandemic – impacting employees and humans across the globe. Since then, I can’t get enough of health and wellness coaching. Coaching and creating wellness experiences and workshops calls to all my passions; it incorporates working with people, supporting positive behavior change for improved health and wellness, and making a positive impact.

I love working with clients to achieve health and wellness goals. Positive, supportive, encouraging, and always seeing the strength in each individual is incredibly satisfying. I think in a way, I’m kind of like the clients I serve, incredibly resilient and able to overcome and reach goals that seem unattainable.

My specialties include supportive and collaborative behavior change development, effective communication skills, empowering clients to develop and leverage their strengths, lifestyle coaching, healthy living role-modeling, client education, collaboration with clients and health professionals, communication, health and wellness coaching, and curating wellness events. I continue to enthusiastically build my capabilities, modalities, and frameworks so that I can build upon my health and wellness practice.
