In the workshop activity, you will summarize what you have learned about community and organizational assets and resources. You will propose an intervention that builds on existing assets and strengths. Your proposed intervention should reinforce existing networks, strengthen community values, and engage relevant stakeholders in solving their own issues. In this activity, you will provide a nuanced description of existing programs, self-help groups, businesses, citizens, or others who are already meeting the need. You will also explain how your proposed intervention could effectively complement those existing assets and resources. This activity is another building block for your final social action project proposal.
