Pathophysiology

PRESENTATION INSTRUCTIONS:
• Each student will prepare an outline and a presentation on a scientific topic of choice:
o Topics can be, but are not limited to, diseases, healthcare issues, controversial topics in science, health trends, global policy, or anything human health related about which you are passionate
o Topics must be approved by the instructor.
• Outline must include a minimum of 5 peer-reviewed references in APA format.
o Template for the outline will be provided on My Courses
• Presentations will be graded on the basis of scholarly content, spelling, grammar, overall structure, clarity of presentation, quality of visual aids, and delivery (Rubric on MyCourses).
• Late submissions will not be accepted.
• In addition to the presentation prepare either ONE of the following:
o A 3-5pg script for the presentation, double-spaced
 This paper should be the “oral report/script/speaking points” for your topic and contain the detailed information not covered by your concise presentation.
 Include your references in APA format at the end of the script
o OR Record a voice-over narration of your presentation
 This option would be like giving a presentation orally in person, covering the detail not contained on the slides themselves
 Include your references in APA format on a slide at the end of the presentation
