One of the many roles that nurses play is that of an educator. After leading or participating in a project that produces new knowledge, it is the nurse’s responsibility to disseminate that information for the betterment of all. As a nurse you have several avenues for knowledge dissemination. In this assignment you will examine the various means for dissemination and determine which would most effectively convey the outcomes of your project. You will then create a plan of action for completing this final stage of your project.

Note: The instructions for this assignment apply to all. If you have not yet begun implementation, you will use the anticipated results of your project as the material you are wanting to disseminate.

Identify the various ways in which you can share the outcomes and lessons learned from the practicum project with your colleagues and with all of nursing.

Develop a plan for disseminating the results of your project beyond the primary stakeholders. Consider the following as you develop your plan:

•  Summarize your dissemination plan in a 525 words. Address the following:
• Who will be your target audience? Target audience are CVCU and ICU nurses, ICU director and managers.

• Who will most benefit from the information? The bedside ICU nurses will benefit the most from the CAUTI prevention protocol.
• How you will expand the reach and value of your practicum project?  I have determined that the best way to reach the most people is to include this information during orientation of new staff and mandatory annual learning management system (LMS) training.
• What format will be the most effective to present your information? After the initial training has been completed and current staff are all aware of the protocol and the needs assessment the best way to present the information will be via LMS and during initial orientation.
• What is your strategy for dissemination? Include:
  • Whether your dissemination be informal or formal. The dissemination will be both formal and informal.
  • Specific details, including when, where, and how you will disseminate.  Please assist here. For this project there are only 2 more weeks left. So please take the liberty of using your imagination
