Naval Context and EABO

INSTRUCTIONS: Using the provided reference(s) (provided in separate attachment) respond to the two topics below for a peer discussion post. Each response should be ½ page in length.
Post should include complete and coherent concepts that exhibit graduate-level critical thinking. Posts should be probing, insightful, robust, and demonstrate both critical thinking and an understanding of the key concepts.

   TOPIC 1: Consider the strategic and naval context that led the Navy and Marine Corps to establish Marine forces on Wake Island. What strategic and naval context may require the U.S. to establish Expeditionary Advanced Bases in the future operating environment? How do you see potential allies, neutral parties, and competitors reacting to this? (1/2 page)
   TOPIC 2: Based on your understanding of EABO, make a judgment about EABO in general given this historical example. Would the results be the same? Would they be different? Justify your answer. (1/2 page)
