Nature and Science

Students will be expected to produce a written review paper on a topic in genetics of their choosing.

You must cite at least five sources of reference material. Examples of citable publications include academic papers in professional journals, including Nature, Science, Cancer Research, or Discover, specialty books, or reputable scientific Web sites (citing their title and URL – see below).

The review paper must be typed and double-spaced. It should be a minimum of five written pages in length but not exceed eight pages including references. It must be well written using good grammar and paragraph structure. All references cited should be put into a reference section with the following general format for a book, parts of a book, research papers, or websites: (web sites should be numbered in the order that they were first cited and listed in numerical order at the end of the written references, including their URL and a title if available): The paper must be written in APA format. The originality percentage can not exceed 12%.

Topic: Genetically Modified Animals

Must be five double-spaced pages in length (excluding the title page, reference page, etc.) and formatted according to APA style.
Must have a cover page that includes:
Title of paper
Student’s name
Course name and number
Instructor’s name
Date submitted
Must include an introductory paragraph with a succinct thesis statement.
Must address the topic of the paper with critical thought.
Must conclude with a restatement of the thesis and a conclusion paragraph.
Must document all sources in APA style, as outlined.
Must include at least six references (one may be the textbook).
Must include a separate reference page, formatted according to APA style.
