Directions: Go to a toy store or website that sells toys. Based on what you have learned about
physical, cognitive, and socioemotional development, select a toy for each period of child
development:

1) infancy,

2) early childhood, and

3) middle and late childhood.

Describe the three toys you selected and justify why each is developmentally appropriate based on the milestones achieved in each domain (physical, cognitive, and socioemotional).

13.3 What changes characterize peer relationships in middle and late childhood? (pp. 404-405)
Your essay should be approximately 5-7 pages in length, double-spaced (excluding the title and
reference page). You must also integrate information from the text to support your answers.
Information from the text should be properly cited using APA format. Guidance on APA style
