MLB Players

the topic is if mlb players who took PEDs are to be allowed in the hall of fame.An annotated bibliography is an alphabetical list of sources that briefly summarizes and evaluates the sources you are collecting related to your topic.
Think of an annotated bibliography as your reference page with each source summarized and evaluated.
Creating an annotated bibliography is a good way to begin to sift through print and electronic sources available on your topic and to begin to sort out facts and identify the arguments and various perspectives related to your topic. This is an opportunity to learn more about your topic, to sharpen your research skills, and to become a part of a larger conversation on the topic you’ve chosen. Try to avoid limiting this assignment to sources that all seem to present the same point of view and avoid looking only for sources that agree with or confirm your current thinking.
Requirements:
• Locate 8 sources related to the topic you have chosen. You must include the following types of sources:
o Four sources from the CPCC databases
o One video or audio source (youtube, CNN, news websites, NPR, TEDTalks are all good options, but you are not limited to these)
o One book (preferably a print book—yes—libraries still exist!). My expectation is not that you’re reading the entire book—but make an effort to read a chapter. If finding an actual print book relevant to your topic becomes difficult, consider using an E-book.
o One news source (whether web, database, or an actual newspaper)
o The remaining source is your choice, but you canNOT use Wikipedia or ProCon.org or DailyMail Online
• You must include an APA-formatted title page (see sample title page in How to Write Anything p.537).
For each of your 8 sources you must include ALL of the following:
• An APA formatted reference entry.
• The first paragraph should summarize the source. In other words, what is the main point and the key supporting points? What key issues does the source raise? Make sure the summary is objective. In other words, do not put your personal opinion in the summary. Make sure to identify the author and the title of the source at the beginning of the summary. Keep the summary brief (about 3 sentences)
• The second paragraph should assess the quality of the source. To do this, consider authority (who wrote it and what is his/her experience), currency (how old or up-to-date is it), usefulness (how might it help you write a research report or argument, what did you learn from it). Avoid simply restating what the article says. Instead, focus on explaining whether or not and to what extent the source is a “good”, “credible”, and “useful” source.
**Notes: since an annotated bibliography already contains reference entries, you should not include an additional reference page with this assignment.
