For this assignment, you will create a menu for the meeting/conference that you created.
For this assignment, here are the elements that you’ll be evaluated on:

  1. A clear and distinct menu for each day and meal offered (25 points)
  2. If you are not going to offer a meal, it should be noted on your schedule if a meal not offered “meal on own”
  3. I would like to see variety in the options (not chicken and potatoes each day) (10 points)
  4. Proposed menu options that can support dietary restrictions (for simplicity Vegan and Gluten Free) (15 points)
  5. One to two paragraphs on why you picked the theme/menu. (25 points)

You will be building a schedule for your conference and how many sessions you’d like for your conference. Here are some of the items that I would like to see in your schedule.
Your conference must be at minimum 2 days and no more than 4 days.

  3. Board Meeting or Leadership Team Meeting (Required)

  7. You can decide when and how they take place (e.g 2 at once, 3 at once, etc)

  12. You can offer some meals and requires other to be on their own
  13. Receptions (Required)
  14. Ancillary activities

  16. Activities
  17. Please also notate the following in a separate color if applicable to your event on the agenda
  18. When do your staff arrive and depart?
  19. When do exhibitors load in and out?
  20. Tech rehearsals for bands, performers, and keynotes?
    Once again, you are allowed to be creative. I am not looking for perfection, but rather for you to understand the time and nuances it takes to build out a schedule of a conference.
    You are welcome to duplicate my templates provided however, please make sure to invest in creating it to your conference. Do not just copy and paste my same times.
