Case Analysis Assignment
Purpose:
This assignment gives the student an opportunity to research and present an evidence-based management plan for the complex medical condition presented during the virtual clinical simulation. Students will consider how their clinical decision-making is shaped by data collection and evidence-based guidelines. Grading is based on the quality of the content, and its ability to demonstrate critical thinking as outlined by the below rubric.
Format:
The assignment should be formatted similarly to a SOAP note with additional narrative and citations to meet the rubric requirements. Consider using section headings that correspond with the rubric. Clinical decision-making and evidence-based practice is the priority, not formatting. Focus on high quality content.
The body of the case analysis paper should be double spaced, #12 font, APA 7th edition format. Any category where the standards for 5 points is not met will receive zero (0) points.
