The primary duties are to oversee all leasing, marketing and customer service activities at the assigned property. Some of the important job functions are to assist with the training and development of leasing consultants as well as compiling and maintaining resident prospect information. Often the Leasing Manager is the first contact a prospective resident will have with one of our 160+ apartment communities. As the first impression of the community, it is important for the Leasing Manager to understand the value of strong customer service, sales techniques and how to overcome objections. Flexibility to adapt to a varied work schedule, including weekends, after hours and some holidays is required.
Write and submit a paper at the end of the semester in which you assess the experience, discuss items learned, and relate observations and experiences to concepts learned in your core and elective classes. The emphasis should be placed on observation, analysis, and evaluation of the experience, organization, and industry rather than on a detailed description of tasks and duties.
