1. Rationale

This coursework requires you to complete a comprehensive research project on a single entrepreneurship topic. This will help you to develop an appreciation of the various theoretical concepts of entrepreneurship and have the ability to identify and evaluate the entrepreneurial opportunities, competencies, skills and behaviors associated with effective and successful individuals and companies through analysis of the data and your interaction with the chosen case.

The expected learning outcomes being assessed:

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of your chosen topic
• Ability to collect an analyze data (both primary and secondary) comprehensively
• Ability to organize your research findings in a presentation format. Write-up a high quality research report
• Develop critical appreciation of the theory of entrepreneurship, creativity, and innovation and an ability to relate it to practice

overview of the Assignment

You need to complete a comprehensive research project on single entrepreneurship topic using case-based study method.

• The first task is to decide on the topic that you want to research. It can be one of the lecture topics or any topic that you believe that is worthwhile to study.

Topics offered: Leadership and Execution; Teamwork, Teambuilding and Trust and etc.

• The second task is to select an existing business to form a case-based study to address the topic that you have decided in the first task. The choice of the company needs to be explained, and a brief overview of the company should be given in the introduction chapter, as well as mentioning why this company would make an interesting case for the chosen topic.
• The format of the course report will have the following chapters:

1. Introduction chapter (1000 words)

• Offering an overview of the research project
• Brief Literature review
• Outline content of the core chapters

2. Methodology Chapter (500 words)

• Discuss your research method (no theoretical discussion required)

3. Core Chapter (2000 words)

• You are required to apply your research to your chosen enterprise using the most appropriate concepts, theories, and/or frameworks. This will allow you to analyze the effectiveness of the topic you have chosen within the organization

4. Conclusion (500 words)

• Gives an overall discussion and conclusion for this project
• Outlines your academic contributions on this research
• Describes your learning experience on this research topic
