Your Mayor (or Chair of the County Board of Supervisors) is concerned that the city/county is not doing enough to protect public health through land use. He or she has asked you to evaluate the city’s (or county’s) current public health protection strategies, and see if they are state-of-the-art of if they need improvement. This paper generally includes at least 20 references (make sure a minimum are 5 solid peer-reviewed journal articles). The paper should be well-organized and contain tables or graphics that summarize the protection strategies.

Based on all the course readings/viewings analyze how well your community promotes public health through its land use strategies.

Evaluate how well the city is promoting public health through its land use policies.

You’ll also prepare a 4-5 minute narrated PowerPoint presentation for the Mayor.
