Juvenile Justice

After reading Chapters 12-14 (Juvenile Justice) and viewing the Unit 4 video, select and answer two (2) of the following three (3) questions:

1) Discuss the different types of restorative justice programs from the textbook readings. Also, do you believe restorative justice programs are effective responses to crime or delinquency for the criminal justice system (discuss why or why not)?Please be sure to support your statements with at least 3 points, ideas, discussions, etc. from the Juvenile Justice textbook, and/or videos. 2) Discuss some of the key explanations of juvenile victimization from the textbook readings. Also, discuss what can be done to prevent or reduce juvenile victimization? Please be sure to support your statements with at least 3 points, ideas, discussions, etc. from the Juvenile Justice textbook, and/or videos. 3) After reading Chapter 14 in the textbook, select at least two (2) reform proposals discussed in Chapter 14. Explain why you selected these reform proposals and your views on the strengths, weaknesses, and/or impacts of these selected reform proposals on the future of juvenile justice.
