IVF Families

For this week’s essay, I would like you to pick an area of focus in IVF families. You could choose child well-being (you can look at physical health and development or psychological well-being). You can choose parenting in IVF families. You could look at psychological issues in families that have multiples (twins, triplets, etc.) from IVF. Or you can pick another area of IVF families that interests you.

I would like you to compare and contrast 2 early studies (from the 80’s or early 90’s) to more recent studies (from the late 90’s to the present). Try to find some of the earlier research in your area of interest and then more recent research so you can see whether the findings of the researchers are similar or whether more recent studies have different findings than the earlier studies.

The essay should be 3-4 pages (double-spaced) and should introduce your topic of interest, compare and contrast the earlier vs. later research, and summarize your findings. Feel free to speak with me to help you hone in on a topic if you are having difficulty.
