This topic will be the basis for a group presentation and classroom discussion. 

This assignment is divided into two parts:

Part 1 – Group presentation

After choosing a topic (Developing health communication messaging for a social marketing campaign to reduce tobacco use in pregnancy among Alaska native women), the students will be expected to:

• Investigate the topic and find one (1) journal research article on the topic (article in an attachment file), to present to the class.
• The presentation should be short, no more than 5 – 7 minutes and be an overview of the journal article.
  • The presentation may be a video your group creates or your group can present live to the class. Live presentations must have a PowerPoint
  • Be creative!
• The presentation must be:
  • Clear
  • Concise
  • Summarize the article
  • Include relevance to nursing/health care
  • Delivered the presentation in five to seven minutes

Be sure to add speaker notes and write the speaker notes as if you were presenting to an audience of other nurses.
