Scenario
For this assignment, you will analyze operational decisions of healthcare organizations and the impact they play on business performance outcomes. Identify an acute care hospital in your community and compare it to two other compatible hospital types within the region. Use Medicare.gov to perform your analysis.

Instructions
Evaluate several quality outcome measures for the three facilities you have chosen and provide an analysis of the following:
• Perform a case study analysis assessing how the acute care hospital in your community has combined business ethics and social responsibility into effective delivery of services.
• Discuss the concept of business intelligence and operational performance and assess the hospital’s performance.
• Evaluate how each hospital’s operational performance determines outcomes that impact their market trends, and how these can be used to make decisions in healthcare.
• Summarize your findings in the conclusion of the analysis.

NOTE – Be sure to use proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure. Your analysis should be, at minimum, 2 pages double-spaced. Use at least three sources and cite them per APA guidelines on a separate Reference page. Be sure to include a title page. Submit your assignment as a Word document.
