Watch a film of your choice and critically analyze the ethical dilemmas presented. The film should be criminal justice-related. It could either be on the police, courts, or corrections. Your task will be to identify the dilemmas faced by CJ professionals, their use of discretion, and/or confidentiality issues, if any. Make sure to evaluate and value the different ideas, perspectives, cultures and viewpoints presented in the film. The assignment should be 3-4 pages, double spaced, 12-point font, times new roman, and should include the following:
- Ethical issues and dilemma(s) presented. You can describe the scene containing the dilemma, but not the plot of the whole film.
- Critical analysis of the ethical dilemma(s) in light of knowledge gained in the Ethics course. Define and then apply at least 10 ethical systems/concepts that you learned in this course.
- How would you have handled these dilemmas? Your suggestions, if any.
While your paper must have a scholarly tone (e.g. using appropriate grammar and a college-level vocabulary, not using contractions or the first-person), it should consist mainly of your own original ideas and thoughts. Use the APA style if you include references.
