Developmental Psychology

DISCUSSION ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS

You will complete 8 Discussions in this course. For each Discussion, you will post one thread of at least 500 words of the assigned Module: Week. You must then post 2 replies of at least 250 words of the assigned Module: Week with the exception of Module 8: Week 8, which is due on Friday. For each thread, you must support your assertions with at least three scholarly citations in current APA format. Each reply must incorporate at least one scholarly citation in current APA format. Any sources cited must have been published within the last five years or provided in the required readings. Acceptable sources include peer-reviewed journal articles.

Throughout this course, you have reviewed several areas of research in developmental psychology. For this last module, please reflect on your own research interests and how theories/research reviewed in this class could apply to your individual research area. For discussion, please answer the following:
• How do the current topics in developmental psychology reviewed in this class apply to your individual research interest?
• What constructs/theories or research apply to your area of interest?
• Have any of your ideas, beliefs, or realities changed as part of this course?
• And, how can you use research reviewed in this class to further develop your own research plan?
