III. Domain integrity
a. Selecting the appropriate data type for a column is the first step in maintaining domain integrity
b. Setting up appropriate constraints and rules to define the data format and or restricting the range of possible values
IV. User-defined integrity
a. Allows the user to apply business rules to the database
b. Enforces some specific business rules that do not fall into entity, domain or referential integrity
