Climate Crisis

Step 1 – Review the assigned reading:

Step 2 – Create an initial post that addresses the following:
• Identify 2 separate examples of a current or potential climate crisis.
o Explain how healthcare rationing is impacted in each of the climate crisis examples (two explanations).
• Provide a cited definition of an ethical theory or principle for each of the climate crisis examples (two different ethical theories or principles with in-text citations).
o Use a cited definition of the ethical theory or principle and explain how it relates to the climate crisis example (two explanations with in-text citations).
o Note: each example should have its own associated separate theory and/ or principle. Do not use the same theory and/or principle for each of the 2 examples
• Explain your position/opinion on healthcare rationing with an in-text citation.
o One does not need to be a healthcare provider to have a position/opinion on the topics presented in your readings. Given that, does being a nurse influence your position on this topic?
o In other words, since you don’t have to be a nurse to have an opinion on these topics, does being a nurse make a difference in the opinion you do have?
