*************************************************************
Draft of Introduction: introductory material should be approximately two to five pages.

Once the introductory section is complete, the paper should then focus on an analysis of the following types of media found within the corporate setting:

• websites*
• brochures OR
• newsletters
• social media policies*
• advertisements*

You have your choice of analyzing brochures or newsletters. However, your term project must include a definition of each of these types of media as well as a description of how these media are classified. This material should be included within your introductory section. The collection and analysis of the documents, however, is limited to brochures or newsletters, not both. In other words, your project must have the following components: website analysis, social media policy analysis, advertising analysis, and either brochure analysis or newsletter analysis: four analyses in all.

The specific components of your term project include the following:
• Two websites from the same area: (ULTA, Sephora)
• Two brochures on the same topic. Collect two brochures covering the same topic.
• Two newsletters from the same type of organization.
• Social Media Policy: refer to the content piece related to social media policies.
• Two advertisements of a product, institution, or service that you found in a printed source. Be sure to choose an advertisement that will yield a sufficiently insightful analysis as documented in the “persuasive request” segment included in this module. The analysis must reflect a treatment of AIDA, target group, and media in which the advertisement is located. The discussion of the advertisement analysis is located as a topic within the Term Project topic.
