Question 1

Create a 10- to 12-slide Microsoft^® PowerPoint^® presentation comparing two of the following:

• Catholic
• Orthodox
• Protestant
• Pentecostal
• Nontraditional/Alternative

Include a brief history of the two traditions and a comparison of their approach to the Bible, art, specific symbols, and rituals, as well as core beliefs, and ethics. You might consider visiting in person or exploring one of these churches online to add your own experiences.

Question 2

Write a two to three-page paper on how your local church or a church with which you are familiar might incorporate the principles of evangelism and discipleship into a Christian education program.

To achieve maximum points for content and analysis, the following elements need to be thoroughly addressed:

• A summary of Hunter’s ten pins for discipleship.
• An explanation of the role of evangelism in Christian education.
• A brief plan for incorporating evangelism and discipleship into a current Christian education program.
• A minimum of two references are required beyond the Bible and textbook.
• Use the Paper Writing rubric provided in your syllabus to guide your efforts.
