Analysis of Gogle Search Engines

DISCUSSION ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS

How has Google built and operated Best of Breed data centers that enable instant access to a world of information with an “intuitive” user interface that adapts to the search interests of a user? Today, Google is not without competition, as we discover the power of alternative search engines this week.

Outside (non-textbook) research should be conducted to address the following discussion topics thoroughly.
Create and post an initial Discussion thread that addresses the topics and questions below:
• Why do some search results appear before others when conducting a Google search? Describe in detail the processes that Google uses to prioritize the positioning of search results.
• Identify and compare three competing search engines to Google. Describe their differences, advantages or disadvantages, and why consumers might select them as alternative search engines or browsers.
• Explain the Internet of Things (IoT) and how it enables consumers to customize and expand smart home networks.
• What does the verse below tell us about accessing and integrating Godly wisdom into our daily lives?

For each Discussion assignment, the student will submit one thread post of at least 250 words in response to all provided topic prompts. The Spiritual Integration component of the Discussion Thread must be at least 50 words. Students must support assertions for each thread with at least two scholarly citations in the current APA format. Each reply must incorporate at least one scholarly citation in the current APA format. Any sources cited must have been published within the last five years. Acceptable sources include textbooks, the Bible, and scholarly internet sources.
