Metropolitan Hospital has various internal strengths that will enable it to apply this technology. The first strength is the adequate supply of infrastructure and resources available to the hospital. The hospital possesses well-established infrastructure and resources such as modern medical equipment, IT systems, and healthcare professionals that will enable an easy transition (Flessa & Huebner, 2021). The clinical expertise of Metropolitan Hospital is among the best in the country, and this access to the vast pool of healthcare professionals as they provide crucial expertise in the application of innovations. On the other hand, the external environment also presents various threats to Metropolitan Hospital’s adoption of technology. However, the external environment also comes with various threats, such as cost and financial constraints, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity risks, which may impact the adoption of these technologies. Still, Metropolitan Hospital is well-positioned to adopt these innovative technologies that will improve its patient care. Moreover, it will enable it to deliver better patient processes that will reduce racial health disparities, improving overall healthcare.
