Disease and Moral Models of Addiction
Based on the research you did in this unit’s studies:
• Compare and contrast the disease and moral models, discussed in the readings, for explaining addictions.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of each model and the advantages and limitations of using each with clients from diverse backgrounds. Support your ideas with material from the professional literature.
