Instructions:
Building on your knowledge of test construction, administration, and evaluation (i.e. statistical analysis) construct a full performance evaluation of a group of subjects, for example a physical education class. First, choose several of the fitness and performance tests covered in the second half of the textbook. Discuss your rationale for the tests you chose, their accuracy, reliability/validity and a very brief description of the testing procedure (i.e. 5 – 10 sentences). You will not actually collect this data, rather this paper is prescriptive (explain what you will/would do).
Then describe a process whereby you will analyze the data collected. What statistical techniques will you use, if any. What relationships will you look for? Correlations, ANOVAs, non-parametric tests etc… You do not need to perform these tests, you simply need to explain why you would use them, and what you learn from them.
In conclusion, discuss how this data and analysis could be used. Aka, provide some rationale for why this process might be useful in the field. This paper should be constructed as a narrative, with paragraphs, not lists. Tables and figures can be presented when relevant, but this is a paper not an outline or list.
