To prevent and mitigate risks associated with work and safety-related incidents in the workplace, it is good practice for EMS organisations to have strong policies and procedures in place. For this unit, your assignment will have two parts. Please develop a policy for personnel management and staffing. Explain factors that contribute to provider fatigue. The policy will provide safe operations by reducing provider fatigue within your organisation. Please describe why this policy is important, how you will distribute it throughout the organisation to ensure it is understood, and how the workplace would be improved with this risk management policy.
