Before you proceed with this activity, review the information about the case study
In this module, you will start by selecting an organization to focus on for your case study. Your selection should come from one of the following categories:
Technology company (IBM, Microsoft, etc.) Oil company (Mobil Oil, Chevron, BP, etc.)
Government department (federal, state or local)
Utility provider (Commonwealth Edison in Illinois, Hoover Dam Electrical Hydropower, etc.)
You may select one of the organizations listed as examples or choose any other organization as long as it fits in one of the categories. If you have trouble choosing an organization, reach out to your instructor for a suggestion.
Do not pick an organization that you will use as an example in any of the weekly discussions from this module through the end of the course.
Next, research the information security needs of the organization. You should include at least three references to support your findings.
The submission needs to be at least three pages long with 500 words on the topic of the module. Your report should include the following:
Cover page
A paragraph about why you chose the organization One page of content about the topic (500 words)
Reference page

Compose your work in a .doc or .docx file type using a word processor (such as Microsoft Word, etc.). Check your work and correct any spelling or grammatical errors. Use proper APA formatting for all components, including the cover page and reference page.
