Purpose: Successful ageing is a multidimensional concept encompassing domains of physical, functional, social, and psychological health. This assignment aims to enhance students’ ability to integrate the knowledge and clinical practice of gerontological nursing, to assess the health conditions and physiological changes due to old age, to plan appropriate nursing interventions for community dwelling older people maintaining healthy wellbeing. Based on their health conditions and relevant risk factors, students should analyze scenarios comprising the topics delivered in the course, and to evaluate the needs and actions taken or to be taken.
Students are required to design a project proposal for caring for a specific group of community dwelling older people in a community health center and aim at successful aging.

 Current situation means the condition of the elderly, a general view of them, examples like mentioning about the following:
