REVENUE GENERATION
Goal 1: Increase revenue streams to support the NMQF’s mission and enhance financial sustainability.
1.1 Diversify Funding Sources:
• Identify and pursue $5 million new funding opportunities (minimum $1 million per Center) from government grants, private foundations, and corporate sponsorships.
• Establish ten (10) partnerships with philanthropic organizations, such as foundations, aligned with NMQF’s mission.
1.2 Explore Fee-for-Service Models:
• Assess the feasibility of offering fee-for-service programs, workshops, or consulting services related to NMQF’s expertise within 6-months.
• Work with Comms to develop a marketing strategy to promote these services to potential clients.
Goal 2: Secure an additional $1 Million in unrestricted funding
2.1 Establish a donor engagement / relations program.
2.2 Identify and cultivate relationships with three potential major donors interested in supporting NMQF within the next six months.
2.3 Identify and cultivate relationships with potential sponsors for the Corporate Roundtable, Faith Health Alliance Advocacy Council, Cancer Stage Shifting Initiative, and other health equity initiatives within the next six months.
o Obtain $1 million in new funding for the Corporate Roundtable
o Add 10 additional sponsors for the Faith Health Alliance Advocacy Council
o Obtain $5 million for the CSSI Demonstration Project
o Leveraging lifetime achievement awardees for staff retreats – $10,000
2.4 Partner with the Comms team to develop and execute a targeted fundraising campaign focusing on unrestricted funding, emphasizing the impact on health disparities and community well-being.
2.5 Implement personalized stewardship strategies for existing major donors to encourage increased giving and commitment to unrestricted funding.
2.6 Achieve a 20% increase in the number of individual donors contributing to NMQF’s unrestricted fund through targeted outreach and engagement.
GRANT MANAGEMENT IMPROVEMENT
Goal 3: Effectively Manage $20 Million in Project Grants and Contracts in 2024
3.1 Create and implement a comprehensive grant management system within the next three months to streamline project tracking, reporting, and compliance.
3.2 Conduct a thorough review of current grant management processes and identify areas for improvement, aiming for a 15% reduction in processing time.
3.3 Develop and implement a training program for project managers and grant coordinators to enhance their skills in budget management, compliance, and reporting.
3.4 Establish a cross-functional team to regularly assess project performance against key milestones and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
3.5 Strengthen collaboration with external partners and grantees through quarterly check-ins, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving.
Goal 4: Enhance Reporting and Accountability for Project Grants
