The purpose of this option is to have you apply relevant ethical systems to the analysis of a contemporary natural resource or environmental issue. In this option, I want you to apply as many ethical approaches as make sense in evaluating the ethical dimensions of the issue, weighing them in importance and relevance, and reaching some conclusion about the ethical “bottom line”.
Your paper should reflect the elements of Regan’s “Ideal Moral Judgment”, and will be graded based on how clear, rational, evidence-based, etc. it is.
