Strategies for Security Management

Overview:

Imagine that you have recently been hired as the head of security for either a large concert venue or an art museum. You have been tasked to hire and train their security personnel for this event.

Choose one of the following options:

Option 1:

• A one-day event at a large concert venue.

Option 2:

• A three-day event at a museum that is displaying an expensive art piece.

In a 1–2-page paper, respond to the following questions:

• In your opinion, what are potential challenges or risks that could arise at the event?
• What do you think are the top three priority areas when training your staff for this event? Explain your reasoning for each.
