• Treat the paper as a research paper rather than an opinion piece.
• Papers must be 3 pages in length, using 1” margins and Times New Roman 12 font.
• APA formatting
• Five scholarly sources must be used. All sources used in the paper must be properly cited and referenced. This includes:
o In-text citations for all presentations of facts, statistics, information, and examples presented using the author/date (author date, page number) format.
o A Reference List or Bibliography, on a separate page, at the end of the paper is required.
o In addition to using assigned course content, use external scholarly sources. Acceptable sources include peer-reviewed journal articles and online sources with URLS that include .gov, .edu, or .org.
o Note: the integration of biblical material is warmly welcomed but is not to be used in place of course text material or external scholarly source requirements.
• When writing each paper, be sure to integrate material (cited and referenced) from all of the readings assigned for that Module: Week. This demonstrates that you read, understood, and are able to apply the materials. Moreover, it is a graded component for each paper.

What are the challenges that the US government’s US Foreign Policy institutions and policies in the modern context?
• The purpose of this exercise is to explore the relationship between the US government’s USFP institutions, intelligence, and USFP. As you consider the assigned readings for this module, analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the governing entities responsible for USFP.
• Complete the following Instructions:
o In an introductory paragraph, introduce the governmental agencies that are primarily responsible for USFP.
o For the remainder of the paper, provide an in-depth analysis of one USFP agency of your choosing, focusing on roles that it plays in USFP formulation, its strengths and challenges.
o Finally, provide policy and/or structural recommendations that would increase the effectiveness of the chosen agency in formulating strong USFP
