• Discuss Implications – Explain your findings’ practical, theoretical, or broader implications. How do your results contribute to the field of study? Discuss the significance of your research and how it advances knowledge or informs practice.
• Consider Alternative Explanations – Discuss alternative explanations for your findings. Are there other factors or variables that could have changed the results?
• Future Research Directions – Suggest potential future research. What questions remain unanswered based on your study? Provide recommendations for researchers who want to build on the work.

Logic theory is an essential aspect of research writing. Logic theory has to do with inductive and deductive reasoning. Errors in reasoning can hurt the research. Professors look for this in writing. In college essays and research papers, the most common ones are:
• Post Hoc Ergo Propter Hoc – “After this, therefore because of this.” If A happens and then directly afterward, B happens, this does not mean that A causes B. Assuming it does is a logical fallacy.
• Non sequitur – “Does not follow.” The conclusion of the information does not follow the evidence.
• The either/or fallacy happens when presenting the reader with two solutions/strategies/interventions when multiple solutions are possible.
