Race, class, and gender still create many institutional challenges to equality in the workplace. In this assignment you are to describe at least two typical manifestations of discrimination in the workforce, which includes any discriminatory practices or statements based on a person’s race, class, or gender. After noting these examples of inequality, explain how one’s race, class, and gender influence the likelihood of being a member of the “working poor.”
