Question 1

Write an 18–20-page research-oriented Position Paper in current Turabian format. The Position Paper must describe the theology and philosophy behind your own personal and public worship. The paper must include at least 20 references in addition to the course textbooks and the Bible.

The paper should be organized, as follows:

Introduction: 1–2 paragraphs

Headings:

• Principles of Theology for Worship;
• Theology of Change;
• Theology and Worship;
• The Theology of Worship and Preaching;
• The Theology of Worship Planning;
• The Theology of Worship and Communication;
• Worship Theology and Jesus;
• The Theology of Worship and Serving;
• Practicing Theology and Prayer; and,
• Practicing Theology and Worship.

Conclusion: 1–2 paragraphs

The paper must be approximately 18–20 pages (NOT including the Title Page, Table of Contents, and Bibliography). Be sure to fully document all sources in current Turabian format.

1. What is a “gospel?”
2. What are the two ways of properly reading the Four Gospel?
3. How did the Gospels come to be?
4. What idea from the reading did you benefit most from? Why?
