Question 1

Create a 10- to 12-slide Microsoft^® PowerPoint^® presentation in which you discuss diversity and policing. Include the following in your presentation:

• Issues related to diversity and policing, at least two of which were discussed in your collaborative group
• The effect community policing has on diversity relations
• How diversity is beneficial in law enforcement employment and retention practices
• At least one diversity in policing concept discussed in the video clips from this week

Format your presentation consistent with APA guidelines.

Question 2

In your first days of your new role you have noticed a lack of diversity initiatives. Your CEO has come to you and asked for a one-page report outlining the importance of your selected diversity group in the workplace.

For your report you have been asked to reflect and address the following sets of questions:

• Introduce the diversity area you have selected through an executive summary.
• What are two benefits of having your selected diversity group represented in the workplace?
• How does the diversity group contribute to a collaborative and innovative environment?
• Conclude your report; why it is important to address this diverse group in the workplace?

Question 3

Read the Introduction and Literature Review sections of the article Diversity Management: An organizational Culture Audit to Determine individual differences, and offer a critique of the author’s literature review. Specifically, your short paper must address the following:

1) Identify the theories that ground the problem. Cite examples from the literature review.

2) Discuss any biases and limitations you identify in the literature review. Does the author present these biases and limitations?

3) Does the literature review follow the guidelines presented in Chapter 4 of your textbook? What elements from the text are present, and what elements are lacking?

Short paper must be 2-3 page Microsoft word document with double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman, one-inch margins, and at lease three sources cited in APA format.
