Living Theater Research Paper

The focus of your research paper will be to isolate specific themes embodied in one of the plays that we have studied this semester, these include: A Midsummer’s Night Dream, Tartuffe, Cloud Nine, Fences, and Harvest.

Your paper should explore how these themes relate to the time at which the play was written and also how these themes relate to the time in which we are currently living. You will put forward a Thesis in your paper, and then demonstrate how the play supports your Thesis.

The paper will need to be: a minimum of 4 pages long double spaced

12 point font.

Your paper should also quote specific lines from the play you chose as evidence of the themes and support for your Thesis.

You must also include at least one image, picture or illustration that relates to your take on themes of your play (Images will be included your page count, but images should be used to reinforce your writing, not to replace it.)
