Review the media 1.2 Resource: Introduction to Marketing.

Choose two companies from which you have purchased products in the last 90 days and “follow” them on social media. The social media site can be the company’s Facebook fan page, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, or Instagram.

Over the course of the week, read the two companies’ status updates/posts every day from a minimum of two social media sites until you find at least one example (six total examples) for each of the categories listed here:

Direct marketing
Consumerism

Write one paragraph for each category that analyzes each post from an ethical perspective. Are the companies’ posts ethical in terms of the selected category?
