PAPER INSTRUCTIONS

This paper consists of 3 parts: a topic submission; a comprehensive outline of the topic and annotated bibliography; and a paper that strictly adheres to the outline content.

The purpose of this paper is for you to create a scholarly piece of college-level research and writing. As such, the paper is to be written using the 3rd person, impersonal mode. Under no circumstances should the 1st person mode be used. Any form of plagiarism will result in a grade of ZERO, so be very careful in your approach to scholarly writing for this project.

Part 1: Topic Submission
In a discussion board forum, you will post your topic choice, which must be related to project management. Your instructor will approve your topic choice and post the confirmation with your post. You must check the discussion board area prior to posting the topic you want to research to ensure no one else has reserved that topic. In the event the topic you wish to research is already reserved by another colleague, simply choose another topic.

Part 2: Comprehensive Outline and Annotated Bibliography
You will create a comprehensive outline of your paper in Microsoft Word, including an annotated bibliography (in current APA format). A cover sheet is required, also in current APA format. The outline format will be as follows:
1. item 1
1.1. sub-item
1.1.1. sub-item
2. item 2
3. etc.

Part 3: Paper
Each student will complete the actual paper that strictly follows the comprehensive outline you created in Part 2. The paper will be at least 10 pages (excluding the cover sheet and references section) and strictly adhere to current APA style. The paper will require at least 8 references. While your paper may exceed the maximum number of pages, points will be deducted from any paper submitted with fewer than the minimum number of required pages.
