Strategic Plan Project Proposal

For your Plan Proposal:
• Read the Project Directions.
• Identify the organization that you will study.
• Complete the questions on this proposal worksheet, using our text for guidance: Bryson Chapters 1, 2.
• Submit the proposal through the assignment upload for Week 1 in Blackboard.

As you develop your project proposal, keep in mind:
• Focus on a small organization, or on a sub-group within a larger organization. You will not have enough time to work on a plan for a large organization.
• It is necessary to tell me the true identity of the organization you are studying to guarantee authenticity and receive the best possible guidance. However, for purposes of posting to our class, provide a fictitious name for both the organization and any individuals involved.

Approval:
• Your proposal will be returned either approved as submitted or with request for revision.
• Once the proposal has been approved, you can utilize much of the information in this proposal as you move into the first sections of your plan.

NOTE: Expect that your plan project will change in some ways as you conduct your investigations and follow the ideas presented in the text. It will be interesting to compare what you thought might be important as you began this exercise to what actually turns out to be important by the end.
