Puberty

This assignment will require that you choose a topic (i.e., dating, puberty, risky taking) from the text and compare and contrast this topic with two different populations (i.e., males vs. females; Americans vs. Non-Americans, Early adolescence vs. Late Adolescence). This paper should be done in APA format and be 8 to 10 pages not including the cover, abstract or reference page. This entire paper should be in your own words; do not just copy information from sources as this will result in an F on this assignment if the percent of copied material exceeds 25%. The paper should be uploaded on BlackBoard in a word document. This paper should answer the following questions:

” The paper should have an introductory paragraph (What the reader will learn in the paper) with your thesis statement that explains to the reader the topic in a clear, concise, and state your argument (What the paper will prove after reading your paper).
” A brief literature review (2-3 pages) discussing the history of the topic, how it affects adolescents/families/society. What is the problem (include stats from evidenced-based research)
” Explain the concept from a psychological/developmental model
” What is this concept like for group A?
” What is this concept like for group B?
” What are the similarities between these two groups?
” What are the differences between these two groups?
” The paper should have a conclusion
o Emphasize the purpose and importance of your paper
o Explain the significance or consequences of your argument
o Indicate the wider applications of the method developed in your paper
o Establish your paper as the basis for further investigation
o The paper should have at least 4 references and the book counts as (1)
