Community Based Nursing Signature Assignment
In this assignment, students will focus on a vulnerable population within the community that is facing a health issue. By using data and epidemiological evidence at local, state, or national levels, you will undertake a comprehensive analysis to address the health challenge this group faces. The assignment should focus on how nursing and public health knowledge can support population health initiatives and make a tangible impact on the community you choose to study.
Format Options:
To accommodate diverse learning styles and presentation methods, this assignment can be completed in one of the following formats:

• Slide Deck (ie. PowerPoint)
• Poster
Regardless of the format chosen, your submission should emphasize community-based nursing in understanding and addressing the health problem of the selected vulnerable population.
Assignment Components:

5. Emphasis on Public Health Functions: Ensure that your proposed interventions align with the core functions of public health: assessment, policy development, and assurance of health services. Highlight how these functions are integrated into your approach.
