You will develop a proposed policy to address an educational issue at any level and in any context of interest to you or your group. This project must include the following elements and will be evaluated and scored as shown:
- Research and identify an issue that could be addressed by policy action. Include a summary of the issue being addressed by the policy in a purpose statement. (15 pts)
- Gather stakeholder input and include a summary of this input as Appendix A to the policy itself. (15 pts)
- Draft the policy language. (70 pts)
- Develop a plan for implementing and evaluating the proposed policy, including identifying enhancers and obstacles to successful policy implementation and establishing metrics for measuring success. Include this plan as Appendix B to the policy itself. (50 pts)
