What you need to do:
• 1 page academic poster only for content must include in text reference.
• Make power point presentation with speaker Notes, no limit on number of slides for end of text references.
• 400 words of draft of the choosing topic.
Equivalent =2100 words in total
Identify a specific patient safety topic with an aim to increase knowledge and awareness to improve patient safety. The poster will be aim at staff to increase compliance related to assessment and increase education mitigate risk.
Example of topics:
• Medication errors
• Diagnostic errors
• Patient discharge errors
• Workplace safety issues
• Aging hospital facilities issues etc.
Poster can include a picture, graph or data table. It must be clear informative and will highlight the main key points. It must be easy to read so your audience are able to understand.
• Good colour for sweet able reading.
• Intext reference and another slide for reference.
• Topics on patient safety.
Do not use the names or other identifiable information of patients, their relatives / carers or
health care staff in your assessment.

• Confidentiality must also be maintained for those patients who have died.
• Do not disclose the name of a practice area (e.g. ward, clinic) in your assessment.
• Only disclose the name of a care organisation if referring to information that is made freely
  accessible in the public domain for anyone to see.
