I. Open the Excel file – Dr. Robinson_Sample Data

II. Rename the File using the following naming convention – LastName FirstName_Data Analysis Decision Making

III. The assumption for this assignment is that you own a business and sell products (not a service).

IV. Choose a type of business and identify the products to be sold (i.e., office products store selling items like pens, pencils, rulers, post-its, chairs, desks, and the like). Note: you must have a minimum of 10 items.

V. Manipulate the data in the cells to reflect the following: Order Date

Units Unit Cost
Total (you do not have to change anything in this column as the formula is already inserted)
Remember: You can add or delete information as it is pertinent to your business and products sold.

VI. Using Pivot Tables provide at least 4 different tables (this means you will have 5 sheets within the workbook).

VII. For each table complete the following: A) summarize what the table shows, B) why you choose to highlight the table, and C) what business decision can you make using the table.

VIII. Submit the Excel file with summary on Canvas under the Data Analysis Decision Making assignment.
