Next, evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of his argument by examining the writing techniques and logic he uses to craft the essay. You are not agreeing or disagreeing with him. Instead, you are judging how well he argues his points. What writing techniques does he use? How does he use them? Is he effective? Why or why not? Hint: You have just written an argumentative essay. What techniques did you use to prove your points?
Support your critique with appropriate evidence from Lewis’s essay including quotations, paraphrases, and summaries. However, do not copy large passages of Lewis’s text just to meet the word count.
